Taradale is a historic scenic town surrounded by rolling hills and native bushland.

Established as a gold mining town in 1855, Taradale contains many buildings of historical interest. Many are now linked by a series of walking trails, allowing the visitor to discover the local history at their leisure. Taradale's visual icon is its magnificent 19th century railway viaduct. Still used today, the viaduct dominates the easterly skyline of the valley.

The highlight of the Taradale calendar is the Taradale Mineral Springs Festival, held on the long weekend in March. A fun filled day with food, wine and entertainment!
